We are often asked what to eat before class. The answer depends on what class you're taking.
For High Intensity (Sculpt)
You need easily accessible carbohydrates. A banana or a date 30 minutes before class gives you that spark of energy without weighing you down.
For Low Intensity (Pilates / Restore)
You can train fasted if it feels good, but hydration is key. Fascia (connective tissue) is largely water. If you're dehydrated, your tissue is sticky and stiff. Drink a large glass of water with lemon first thing in the morning.
The 'Green Glow' Smoothie
Our favorite post-class fuel: Spinach, 1/2 Avocado, Kiwi, Hemp Seeds, and Coconut Water. Creamy, anti-inflammatory, and delicious.
